Are you between 17 and 35 years old (average age: 21) and eager to experience a genuine intercultural exchange while contributing to a project requested by the local population?
Join a solidarity trip and spend three weeks immersed in a village in Africa or Asia. A unique human experience filled with encounters, solidarity, and discovery! Exchange is the key word of these trips. No special skills are required.
An information session is held each year in January (next session: Friday, January 23, 2026, at 8 p.m., online -> Non-binding registration in French or German). Group preparation starts in early February and includes four in-person meetings and collective actions. Within a group of about ten participants, you have the opportunity to:
- Get to know your fellow participants and build strong group dynamics,
- Prepare for this enriching and educational adventure and learn more about the context and program,
- Take part in interactive awareness workshops on topics such as interculturality, donations, global inequalities, etc.,
- Raise funds together to support the local project you are involved in.
Activities in the host country:
Once there, you are safely guided by our competent local partner. Every day is an opportunity to share, learn and build authentic connections.
You take an active part in village life by:
- Contributing to a concrete project,
- Exchanging with families,
- Playing with children,
- Talking with young people,
- Helping with fieldwork,
- Planting trees,
- Dancing with the villagers,
- And much more!
You only pay your travel expenses (a package including the flight and cancellation/repatriation insurance). Nouvelle Planète covers your local stay (food, accommodation, local transport, activities, and miscellaneous costs).
